The University of Hail Institute for Research and Consulting Studies has established this Attendance and Learning Policy to regulate attendance in e-learning and blended learning programs, ensuring effective participation and the achievement of intended learning outcomes.

Synchronous online attendance refers to a trainee’s participation in live virtual classes conducted through the Institute’s approved digital platforms.

Attendance and Participation Regulations

  • Participation in synchronous virtual classes is considered equivalent to physical attendance.

  • For non-synchronous e-learning programs exceeding one month in duration, synchronous online attendance must constitute at least 25% of the total program hours.

  • For blended learning programs (virtual or on-site) exceeding one month, a minimum of 25% of total program hours must be delivered through direct or synchronous virtual sessions.

  • All trainees are required to actively participate in accordance with the approved training plan.

  • Trainees must complete at least 80% of the total scheduled training hours to successfully complete the program.

Scope and Compliance

This policy applies to all trainees enrolled at the University of Hail Institute for Research and Consulting Studies. All Institute staff are responsible for enforcing and monitoring compliance with this policy.

Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the Institute’s internal regulations and procedures.
